If Today You Hear His Voice, Harden Not Your Heart!

“For he is our God, and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. Today, oh that you would hear his voice, harden not your heart!”
"Feeling bad?
Don’t feel bad; embrace the joy in this journey between you and I.
I have your back. I have everything planned out for your life.
You just have to trust me in the things I can do for you.
You have to trust that you will not want for anything in this life.
I am holding out the white flag of surrender for you to embrace.
I am holding out my hand for you to take.
I am opening my arms for you to feel safe in every storm and through every season of life.
I am here for you if you will just step up and accept what I have for you.
Don’t be fearful, child, be faithful.
Don’t be sad; find joy in your new beginning.
When you find true joy you will find me.
There is only joy if you have the courage to open the door to all that life has to offer you. Are you ready?"

If Today You Hear His Voice

Does Joy Come in the Morning?

Joy does come after one is ill.
We get a sense of new beginnings on the horizon.
God’s grace is perfect and sufficient. In Him we find comfort.
Listen, God is calling you, “Come embrace me.”

“God’s favor lasts a lifetime! Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning.” Psalm 30:5

Does God Bring Illness?

Do you think it is God’s will for you to be sick or to suffer? No!
It would be universally useless to accept a notion such as this, especially if one believes she/he is a child of God, made in His image.
If one believes in the new covenant, it would be futile to deem God brings illness. Why? God does not bring illness, disharmony, or anything that is negative.
As it says in the Book of Isaiah, “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.”
It is true; we are a glimpse of the true image of Christ with all our faults and problems.
God does not turn his back on us. He gives us choices.
Is there a solution? Yes, take action!
One has many tools at her/his disposal such as prayer, support, and healthy choices.
By utilizing one’s tools, many of them orchestrated by God, this opens the door for one to receive more of God’s grace on many levels.
This week, I received a health related newsletter in the mail sent to me by a dear friend.
In the newsletter was information that I needed.
I decided to follow the direction of the Holy Spirit within, picked up the phone and called my friend who sent me the newsletter. Not only was she able to help me, but she gave me additional tools for my toolbox and more choices.
God does not send us illness, but he will send us help if we listen to His urgings and take action.

Come back next week and discover why after one is ill or comes through a difficulty, “Joy comes in the morning.”

The Fourth Watch Part 4

Hello Everyone,

Part 4 of our series, the "Fourth Watch" continues our discussion on "Intercessory Prayer." During this spiritual exchange, a pastor woke up and prayed for me without ever meeting me. God is so good. We have Prayer Warriors interceding on our behalf,"on earth as it is in heaven."

Fourth Watch Part 4

A Special Note: Most of the sermons are recorded during our Sunday services. If you are a kindred spirit and would like to join us, visit Sacred Walk Home for more information.
